We, Mr & Mrs Smith are a professional couple, in our free time we are true sunseekers and keen travellers ourselves. We are also true The Smiths – that is our real surname, rather than just a brand choice.
We have travelled together to 36 countries.
Mr Smith – Martin, had spent three years exploring Asia.
Mrs Smith – Dina has a developed an international profile as an academic and has partnerships throughout four continents.
We have lived in the UK, Canada, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and in Dubai, during the epidemic in 2021.
By blood we are: British, Swedish, Croatian, Bosnian, Czech and German – just covering our closest family circle.
We love exploring new destinations, but we also love returning to our favourite hidden gems: by the sea and in the ski resorts.
We have stayed in many amazing places. In Dubai we lived for three months on the 71st floor, the top floor of the tallest hotel in the world, Gevora. While staying there we had been enchanted by the views of the Persian Gulf, its islands and views of Dubai iconic buildings.
A Vision Inspired by Years of Travel and Exploration
Our vision for creating our own Hidden Gems has been developing over many years based on experiences like that, travelling, exploring and evaluating various aspects of our chosen destinations and accommodations. All that knowledge accumulated through our travels has been built into our hidden gems.
We have invested time and effort into finding a location with breath taking views, developing the design that works with the location focusing on views in every possible aspect of the delivery and use, sourcing a building company with the highest standards, selecting top of the range materials and furniture and we add a high-end range of services.
Unique Luxury Retreats for the Discerning Traveller
We now want to share our coastal and mountain hidden gems with similar minded travellers, who look to find an oasis off the beaten track, offering the best of nature and the best of luxury and service resulting in a unique experience.
We return to Dubai at least once a year and we always stay in Gevora – because we cannot get enough of soaking in such unprecedented views and because it is so special to keep returning to a trusted place of luxury. Therefore, we have created our hidden gems with the vision to make our visitors feel the same – mesmerised during their stay and wanting to keep returning and returning for the uniqueness and luxury by Mr & Mrs Smith Hidden Gems.
